Automation & Assembling Technician
ProGnosis Biotech S.A. is seeking an Automation & Assembling Technician to join its Production team in Larissa.
the role
The role combines the assembly of diagnostic products with the operation, setup, and monitoring of automated and semi-automated production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, package, and label diagnostic products according to established procedures.
- Operate and perform basic setup of automated and semi-automated production machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify operational or technical issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and cooperate with the technical team when required.
- Carry out basic quality checks and maintain production records.
- Follow quality, safety, and SOP requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in production, assembling, or machine operation.
- Experience operating automated or semi-automated production equipment.
- Basic technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.
- Accuracy, responsibility, organization, and teamwork.
- Basic to good command of English.
Preferred Qualifications
A degree or technical qualification in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field will be considered a strong advantage.
Knowledge of PLC systems, preferably Siemens, electrical drawings, or industrial automation systems will also be considered an asset.
