Inside Sales Representative (Spain)

ProGnosis Biotech S.A., a dynamic and export-oriented company in the biotechnology sector, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its team in Athens.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the customer base in international markets, contributing to revenue growth and strengthening the company’s global presence.

The Role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving commercial activities in your native-language market, focusing on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle.

You will engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, present the company’s products, and convert leads into long-term partnerships. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on commercial strategy and market development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the customer base in your assigned native-language market.
  • Identify and evaluate potential clients and partners.
  • Proactively approach prospects via phone, email, and digital channels.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Organize and track all sales activities in a structured and systematic manner.
  • Follow up consistently with leads to convert them into active customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align priorities and improve market penetration.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, including international travel when required.

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Very good command of Greek for internal communication (English will be considered an asset).
  • Availability to travel internationally when required.
  • Comfort using digital tools for communication and workflow management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build trust with clients.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple leads, contacts, and follow-ups effectively.
  • Previous experience in sales will be considered an asset.
  • Background in life sciences will be considered a plus, but is not required.
