Quantum BT-S and Quantum BT-CC Receive Positive Evaluation from PIWET

ProGnosis Biotech has further solidified its position in the field of dairy diagnostics with the recent positive evaluations of its Quantum BT-S and Quantum BT-CC rapid tests by the Polish National Veterinary Institute – National Research Institute (PIWET: Państwowy Instytut Weterynaryjny – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy).

With Quantum BT-Cef and Symmetric B+T already positively evaluated, the latest recognition of Quantum BT-S and BT-CC further expands ProGnosis Biotech’s trusted lineup of rapid tests for milk and dairy safety.

Quantum BT-S:

  • Detects: β-lactams, tetracyclines, and sulfonamides
  • Negative Results in 90 seconds

Quantum BT-CC:

  • Detects: β-lactams (including Ceftiofur and Cefalexin) and tetracyclines
  • Negative Results in 120 seconds
  • Cassette Format
  • No incubation required
  • Matrices: raw milk (cow’s, sheep’s, goat’s), pasteurized milk, milk powder

Both products can be evaluated either visually or using the portable 3PR Mini Reader. The reader connects to the Android mobile app via Bluetooth. With built-in GPS-tagging and a user-friendly interface, the app allows for instant result sharing and streamlined documentation, making it a practical tool for on-site testing by both experts and non-specialized personnel.

The positive evaluation from PIWET confirms that both tests meet the institute’s standards for analytical sensitivity, specificity, and practical use in veterinary applications.
