LabVIEW Developer
ProGnosis Biotech S.A., a growing and dynamic biotechnology company, is currently seeking a skilled LabVIEW Developer to join our team in Thessaloniki, Greece.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update existing LabVIEW applications to adapt to new requirements or improve performance.
- Design, develop, and implement LabVIEW-based software solutions for automated test systems, data acquisition, and control systems.
- Develop and optimize VI architectures and frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Integrate hardware components such as DAQ devices, sensors, actuators, and communication modules into LabVIEW applications.
- Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, to define system requirements.
- Provide technical support and training for end-users and internal teams.
- Document system designs, software architectures, and test plans.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
Requirements
- [Preferred] Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in LabVIEW development (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in developing modular and reusable code in LabVIEW.
- Experience with hardware communication protocols (e.g., USB, RS232, TCP/IP, SERIAL).
- Understanding of signal processing, data acquisition, and control systems.
- Knowledge of software version control tools and practices (e.g., Git, SVN).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Vision Development Module.
- Experience in integrating third-party hardware and software solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting or additional programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, or MATLAB).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
