ProGnosis Biotech is delighted to announce the launch of Symmetric BTS (S1248/96) for the detection of β-Lactams, Tetracyclines and Sulfonamides in raw milk (cow, sheep, and goat milk), pasteurized milk and milk powder.

Symmetric BTS enriches the portfolio of antibiotics developed by ProGnosis Biotech which includes the Symmetric B+T which is a lateral flow test kit for the detection of β-Lactams and Tetracyclines and the Bio-Shield Chloramphenicol which is an ELISA test kit for the quantitative determination of Chloramphenicol in serum/plasma, honey, eggs, milk, meat, muscle and seafood, and yogurt samples.

The newly launched Symmetric BTS is a 5 min lateral flow test to detect simultaneously β-Lactams, Tetracyclines and Sulfonamides in cow, sheep, and goat milk. The detection limits fully comply with the EU MRLs and the test can be used for the fast detection of these antibiotics.
