In Uganda, food safety remains a critical challenge, with manufacturers facing strict regulations, contamination risks, and the need for faster, more reliable testing methods. At AFMASS Food Manufacturing Expo – Uganda Edition, held at the Africana Hotel in Kampala, ProGnosis Biotech addressed these concerns by showcasing innovative diagnostic solutions designed to help producers maintain compliance, quality, and consumer trust.

At Booth A11–A12, attendees explored high-sensitivity ELISA and Lateral flow tests. The expo generated strong interest in ProGnosis Biotech’s specialized solutions, including the USDA-approved BioShield 5 Series for precise mycotoxin determination, and the Symmetric Green Series, which features a common Green extraction for all mycotoxins. Attendees were particularly engaged with the Quantum Antibiotics series, the ultra-fast, easy-to-use tests, in a cassette format for antibiotic residue detection in milk, and the portable 3PR Mini Reader.

Taking efficiency to the next level, ProGnosis Biotech introduced its new Android mobile app, designed to enable instant result sharing for rapid test analysis, supporting real-time decision-making and improving operational effectiveness.
