- Exports Sales Executive for our branch in Thessaloniki.

Position Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and following sales leads, market research.
- Monitoring sales network in the areas of his / her responsibility
- Implementing the company’s marketing plan in the areas of his / her responsibility, in close cooperation with the Marketing Department
- Representing the company in international sectoral exhibitions and conferences in Europe, Asia and the Americas
- Providing technical support in applying Elisa & Lateral-Flow diagnostic methods
- Frequently performing business / field trips abroad, as an elementary part of the job.

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:
- University Degree in Science.
- Master’s Degree, preferably in Chemistry and / or Business Administration.
- Excellent command of English and good command of Italian and / or Spanish language.
- Excellent command of MS Office, hardware and software handling.
- Willingness to explore other scientific fields.
- Good command of geography.
- Driving License (Required).
- Previous work experience in relevant position is not required; An intensive on-the-job training program will take place in the first few months.

1st AEOS-Ruminantia Convention

A few days ago, in Rome, during the 1st AEOS-Ruminantia Convention, ProGnosis presented an augmented version of “New Approaches of Sample Preparation, in order to Quantify Aflatoxin M1 in Milk Derivatives”.
As one of the five sponsors of the convention, ProGnosis had its own booth where it displayed its products and caught the attention of a number of visitors.

During the last ARA Convegno (Convention of Regional Breeders’s Associations) which took place in Padenghe sul Garda, Lombardia, ProGnosis Biotech presented its own approach on sample preparation of milk derivatives for ELISA testing.
ProGnosis’s speaker and Chief Researcher, Mr. Sotirios Athanasiou, got into the spotlight by presenting, in Italian, the innovative products able to trace Aflatoxin M1 not only in milk and milk powder, but also in yogurt, yogurt drinks and above all, cheese.
Following exceptional performance in AIA Ring Tests last October, ProGnosis’s R&D Department was invited to the highly-esteemed Convention of all ARA, in order to present solutions to a rising issue: Aflatoxin M1 detection in Cheese (especially Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano).


Third China Food Enterprises Laboratory Testing and Management Technology Forum

The conference aimed to enhance the level of operation and management of laboratory and self-control of food enterprises to ensure the scientific nature and accuracy of laboratory data.
A system of checking in layers, using the 3 main existent technologies, HLPLC, ELISA and Lateral-flow, is being shaped.
Laboratories but also the industry, are compelled to screen and confirm. ELISA has arisen in the past 5 years as a cost-effective, screening method.

Mr. Antonios Ntantasios, Managing Director of ProGnosis Biotech, accompanied by Chief Researcher and Head of the R&D Department, Mr. Sotirios Athanasiou, presented an integrated and holistic approach on China’s mycotoxin issue last September.
The presentation was deemed to be successful since it was focused, explanatory without being procrastinated. A holistic view on technical details, statistics used in order to interpret results and at the same time a custom-made approach trying to fulfill Chinese needs.

Food Safety Symposium 2016,

Prognosis had attend IAFP's European symposium on Food Safety. IAFP's European symposium has been shaping the future of food safety by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas with colleagues from across Europe working in industry, government and academia. The Symposium is an excellent forum to gain knowledge about the latest developments and techniques in food science and safety.
The company had presented 3 posters involving innovating new methods for food safety.


Analytica 2016, Munich Germany

Prognosis Biotech had attented Analytica 2016 as exhibitor.
During the days (May 10 to 13), a total of 1,244 exhibitors from 40 countries presented their product innovations including a number of world premieres to some 35,000 visitors at analytica. There was a considerable increase it the share of exhibitors and visitors from abroad. As a result, analytica' leading position as the world's most important trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology remains undisputed.


38th Mycotoxin Workshop 2016

Prognosis biotech had attend the38th Mycotoxin Workshop in Berlin.
The conference was organized by the Society for Mycotoxin Research and took place in the premises of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in Berlin-Marienfelde.
